After months of unsuccessful negotiations, we could no longer continue to do business in the existing space. As construction to the other suites in the building took place, the effects of those renovations took their toll on our restaurant and we could no longer continue in good conscience, despite the positive reviews from our local health inspector.
We are proud to have served and supported our community for these last 28 years and look forward to doing so once again in the near future.
And we thank you, for all of your support and patronage over the last few decades.

Placing fourth in last year’s competition, Stephan has continued to bring us into the next level of west coast dining with his background & knowledge of the art of cooking. His passion and creativity is a constant reminder of what dedication and hard work can achieve.

We are honored to have once again been recognized by the province`s food community & the readers of EAT Magazine as Victoria`s "Best Restaurant Cooking Local" two years running (2012 & 2013)!! Previous awards from the same community include Best Farm To Table in 2010 & a Lifetime Achievement Award for founder & former Owner David Mincey.
As it is every year, the competition in Victoria is very strong and with so many good restaurants, it thrills us even more to have been chosen!

A bit more about us...
Camille's is located in Bastion Square, in the heart of Old Town Victoria. We are nestled into the cozy nooks of an 1898 heritage building designed by Francis Rattenbury. Our restaurant is a unique combination of fine dining with a comfortable, casual atmosphere. The menu is diverse, seasonal and changes daily. We work closely with our Island farm community and are proud to utilize as many fresh local ingredients as possible. Candlelight, soft blues and jazz and a talented staff supply the atmosphere. For those who love wine, our list is extensive with many truly great and yet affordable bottles.
